Do tops spin clockwise or counter-clockwise down there?

Australian Tops:

This top was made from the beams of the original chapel at the college where Brian works.
It was sold as a fund raiser.

These are tops from various Australian top makers.  The left top in the first picture is made by Brian.
(Brian's Note:   I have ambitions to turn some special tops one day using wood and pewter.  I hope the wood will be ebony.)
 
 

 
 

These are made by Gary Start.
I also make them this size and smaller out of bone.  I do not
have any at the moment.  They spin well for their size.
