These are experimental tops. I wanted a quick and
easy supported
top system. The disk is put on, the cord wound
around the stem,
then pull. I can use it on almost any top as I
have a pile of
different diameter disks. The latest disks are
larger in
diameter and thicker for more stable support so that
I can hold
them better: No complex turning.

I made all these tops to see which spun the best.
I performed a very
subjective test in which I spun each by hand 3 times
and timed them. Then
I compiled a table of total spin times. The two
tops in the lower left picture
were the winners.
